There’s a field along the Mill Trail, scattered with large pieces of flint. It curves and dips gently towards the farm in the distance — a shape I’ve returned to in four seasonal prints.
 
Each version uses graduated colour blends to evoke a different time of year: Spring (green/blue), Summer (pink/yellow), Autumn (blue/orange), and Winter (pink/olive).
 
This original multi-block linocut was made using two blocks of lino. The first carries a blend of two colours rolled together; the second is a darker ‘key’ layer printed over the top to define the detail.
 
All four are available as signed, limited-edition mounted prints.
