A delicate etching of a harvest mouse, caught in the act of stretching toward the next ear of wheat with quiet determination, printed in two shades of ink for a gentle contrast.
 
My prints are made using the drypoint etching process. I use sharp tools to scratch my designs onto aluminium plates to build the form and texture, then use stop‑out and acid to create the tonal areas (aquatint). Each plate is inked and wiped by hand before going through the press, which means every print has its own small, natural variations.
